How long does it Last?

In average conditions, Froggy’s Flakes Instant Snow™ will last for several days. Over time, the snow will gradually dehydrate until it reaches the humidity level of the environment. If you wish to maintain the appearance of the snow, simply spray lightly with water as needed!

Can the snow be reused?

Absolutely! Once the water has completely evaporated from the snow powder, simply store Froggy’s Flakes Instant Snow™ in an airtight container.

Is the snow cold?

Due to evaporation, the snow will constantly have a cooling effect as it dries. It is also great at maintaining the temperature of the water used in mixing, so be sure to use super-cold water for the most realistic results!

Is the snow non-toxic?

Froggy’s Flakes Instant Snow™ is safe for kids, pets, and plants when used as directed! 

How much do I need?

Froggy’s Flakes Instant Snow™ will expand up to 100 times its original size with the addition of water. For best results, gradually add snow powder to the water when mixing to ensure all particles are fully hydrated.

To get a precise estimate of how much you’ll need, use this equation: Width x Length x Desired Depth= Volume/.134 (Cubic Feet Per Gallon).

Froggy’s Flakes Instant Snow™ is currently offered in a 5-gallon format, so choose the appropriate number of bags to cover your desired area.

How do you mix Froggy’s Flakes Instant Snow? ™

Add the desired amount of snow powder to a large container. (It’s best to start small and add more as needed) Gradually add water while stirring the mixture to ensure even saturation of the solution. Continue to add water until the snow no longer expands.

How do you clean up the snow?

Cleanup is easy with Froggy’s Flakes Instant Snow. ™ Simply sweep or vacuum the dry solution until removed from the area. Instant snow should never be washed into the sink or any other drain, as it will cause clogs. To quickly evaporate the water from the mixture, add salt to the solution to expedite the drying process.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. SMALL BATCH MIXING

Begin by adding 2 cups of water to 1/8 cup of Froggy’s Flakes Instant Snow. Yield should be approximately 1 quart of snow. If yield is significantly lower, use a higher quality filtered water for mixing.

2. LARGE BATCH MIXING

After establishing your desired ratio, gradually add more snow powder and water to a large container, mixing consistently until the desired amount is reached.

Incremental mixing is recommended for maximum snow saturation and ease of blending.

3. REUSING SNOW

To reuse instant snow, simply allow the mix to completely dry and return to an airtight container for future use.

4. DISPOSAL

To dispose, simply sweep or vacuum (only if dry) instant snow and dispose of as waste. DO NOT wash instant snow down drain as it will cause clogging.
